Our story
Founded in Diss in 1984.
Les Newman founded the business in 1984 after gaining his professional qualifications and London experience with Josolyne Layton Bennett & Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young). He has been helping local businesses in East Anglia with their financial and taxation needs ever since.
Diss is central to our practice thanks to its location in the middle of East Anglia, easily reached by businesses and individuals in the Waveney Valley and further afield via the rail and main trunk road links. It is the main base for our directors. Our second office is on Hungate in Beccles, Suffolk.
Wayne Goddard joined the firm in 2009 and was appointed a director in 2012, bringing ten years' experience with a national mid-tier firm, where he progressed to Partner managing substantial owner-managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
